    2. Press Click here to test once with your main mouse button, then release it.
    3. Pause before each new press. Watch Clicks, Rapid pairs, and Double-clicks.
    4. Compare the counters with the presses you intended. Select Reset for a new run.

    What you can check

    What your result means

Clicks counts presses received in the test area. Rapid pairs counts gaps at or below your chosen Rapid interval. The browser counts Double-clicks separately using its own rules.

A rapid pair is normal if you deliberately clicked twice quickly. Look for repeated extra events during single presses before suspecting a problem.

    Helpful tips

Changing Rapid interval clears the run. The recent list shows up to eight gaps, with the newest first.

Use your main mouse button, usually the left button. Touch and keyboard actions are excluded. If extra clicks persist, check remapping or macro software and compare another mouse.

    Frequently asked questions

Does a rapid pair prove my mouse is faulty?

No. Two intended fast clicks can produce the same result. Compare the count with slow, single presses and repeat the test.

    What does Rapid interval change?

It sets the longest gap counted as a rapid pair in this page. It does not change your system's double-click setting.

Why are Rapid pairs and Double-clicks different?

The browser uses its own double-click rules. Those rules are separate from the time limit chosen for this test.

Does this measure mouse polling rate?

No. This checks button events. Use the Mouse Polling Rate Test for a separate estimate of browser movement samples.
