Is My Device OK is operated by ZEDVentures Inc.. These terms apply when you use the website's browser-based device tests or embed a tool using the code we provide. Please read them before using the tools.
Free tests and their limits
The tests are provided free of charge. They are provided "as is," for general information. Results are not professional diagnoses or a substitute for a technician's inspection. No warranties are provided, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
A passing or failing result does not conclusively establish whether hardware is faulty. Browsers, operating systems, device settings, and other software can change what a test receives or displays. A result may show a symptom without identifying its cause. A device may also have a problem that a browser test cannot detect.
Before relying on a result for a repair, return, purchase, or warranty request, repeat the check and confirm it with the manufacturer, seller, or a qualified technician. We do not promise a particular result, compatibility with every device, uninterrupted access, or a repair.
Using and embedding tools
Follow the instructions and warnings on each tool page. Use the tests only on devices you are allowed to check. Camera and microphone access is optional and begins through the tool's controls and your browser's permission process. You can stop a test or leave the page when you are finished.
You may not copy, scrape, or resell the tools. This restriction does not prevent embedding through the officially provided embed code. You may use that code to show an embedded tool on your website. Embedded tools must retain their credit links. Do not remove or hide those links or represent the tools as your own work.
Affiliate purchases
Some clearly identified links may generate affiliate commissions. Any purchase through an affiliate link occurs directly with the merchant. ZEDVentures Inc. is not the seller in those transactions. The merchant handles the order and sets its own prices, payment terms, shipping arrangements, returns, and privacy practices. Check those details with the merchant before buying.
Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ZEDVentures Inc.'s liability arising from your use of the website or reliance on test results is limited. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes rights that applicable law does not allow us to waive.
These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, subject to any rights or protections that applicable law requires.
